The benchmark utilizes broker submitted data from 17 of the Top 20 banks including the top 10 by total volume, making this the industry recognized measurement for volumes.

Scope

  • The product provides an assessment of banks’ volume performance versus competitors across products, platforms, client types and groups based on volume levels.

Why do it?

The benchmark enables firms to understand areas of over/under-performance vis-à-vis peers, drivers of performance and opportunities for improvement.

Additionally, the analysis allows clients to understand client/platform preferences and monitor and assess outcomes of investments  and strategic decisions,  e.g. investment into a single dealer platform, over time.

Client commitment

  • Firms are required to submit trading volumes as per a data template provided during onboarding. Expand issues reporting guidelines outlining all metrics to be provided and to what taxonomy.
