The CIO Forums are chaired by Expand in Europe and Asia, and membership to the program provides the opportunity for CIOs of top tier global banks to discuss and address client driven topics and issues with industry peers.
Who is it for?
- CIOs, Heads of IT Strategy, COOs
Frequency
- The group meets 2-4 times each year
Why do it?
Attendance at the sessions ensures that CIOs are clued-in to industry trends, and which ensures that nothing that happens in IT or business is completely unexpected. A strong peer group ensures a mutually beneficial environment in which to set best practices and aid decision-making.
There are numerous examples of industry-wide initiatives being launched as a result of forum meetings. Past examples include the successfully concluded Fixed Income Connectivity Working Group, while current examples of topics under review for cross-industry collaboration include cloud adoption in Financial Services and creation of a service to aggregate and distribute Bond data.
